This is really a small guide for all beginners, who are starting playing Clash of Clans. This is a basic guide, which shows you basic steps that you should do with each level of your Town Hall. This guide is not entirely accurate and not really optimal, if you have a better move or strategy, please comment to make this guide be more better.
Clash of Clans Base Building Tips
Town Hall Level 2
In level 2, you should spread your cannons out by a straight line. Try to put your archer tower at the middle of your village, so it can attack the enemies from all sides. Don’t make your stuff to be bunched up on one side, if you do that, attackers can destroy your village easily from the other expose sides.
Town Hall Level 3
In this level, just keep spread your cannons out on a straight line. Build the first Mortar and put it close to the middle because it has a large range and plash damage. Your archer need to be put in a spot to defend your base town hall.
Town Hall Level 4
Just keep spread your cannons and archer towers out in a line. Because the range of archer tower is bigger than cannon’s, so you need to spread out archer towers to cover your base, put the Mortar close to the middle as much as you can. Don’t forget to build the Air Defense, put in in a good spot to defend your base.

Town Hall Level 5:
You can build the Wizard Tower at this level of town hall. So you have 2 plash damage buildings now: Mortar and Wizard Tower. Try to puts these constructions near the middle of your village. Spread out cannons and archer towers. Try to upgrade your walls maximum as many as you can before up your town to level 6.

Town Hall Level 6:
Keep holding your plash damage towers close to the middle and in a straight line. Spread out cannons and archer towers. Try to upgrade your walls maximum as many as you can before up your town to level 7.
